Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of My Income Model (the "Service"), operated by SoftLOGiX, Inc. ("SoftLOGiX," "we," "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Effective date: September 17, 2026

1. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for adults (18 or older) in the United States who are making personal retirement-planning decisions. By using it you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is your own or that you are authorized to use it.

2. What the Service is — and is not

The Service is an educational and informational modeling tool. It takes assumptions you enter — account balances, expected returns, spending, Social Security, pensions, an annuity, a mortgage, long-term-care assumptions, and similar figures — and produces projections, comparisons, and simulations to help you explore possibilities and understand trade-offs.

The Service is not investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or financial-planning advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, insurance product, or other investment. Using the Service does not create an advisory, brokerage, fiduciary, accountant-client, or attorney-client relationship between you and SoftLOGiX. SoftLOGiX is not acting as your investment adviser, broker-dealer, tax preparer, or insurance agent, and does not manage assets or execute transactions.

3. No reliance; consult your own professionals

The projections are hypothetical, based entirely on the assumptions you enter and on simplified modelling of tax and other rules that will not match a filed tax return or any particular product. Actual results will differ. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Before acting on anything you see here, consult a licensed professional — such as a CPA, a fiduciary financial adviser, an estate attorney, or a licensed insurance professional — who can consider your full circumstances.

4. Assumptions, estimates, and simulations

Tax figures reflect a simplified reading of the applicable Internal Revenue Code and related rules and are updated periodically; they are not a substitute for professional tax preparation. Forward projections are a single deterministic path unless otherwise noted. Any Monte Carlo simulation uses random draws around the assumptions you provide, is expressed in today's dollars, and is an illustration of variability — not a prediction, guarantee, or probability you will actually achieve any result.

5. Your account and security

Sign-in is passwordless: we email a one-time code to verify it is you. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We protect your information in transit (HTTPS) and encrypt your planning inputs, plan data, name, and email address at rest using AES-256-GCM, with account records keyed by a one-way hash of your email; see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Core features are available to registered users at no charge. Advanced features are available to subscribers.
  • New subscriptions may include a free trial, offered once per account; an account that has subscribed before is billed from the start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid, recurring subscription billed monthly at the price shown at sign-up (currently $12.95/month), until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by PayPal under PayPal's own terms; we do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
  • You may cancel at any time from the Subscribe page. On cancellation you retain access through the end of the current paid billing period, and the subscription does not renew after that. It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends or before the next billing date if you do not wish to be charged. Except where required by law, we do not refund charges incurred because a subscription was not cancelled in time, including the first charge at the end of a free trial.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and partial billing periods are not prorated. We may change pricing or features prospectively; material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to gain unauthorized access; copying, scraping, reverse-engineering, or reselling the Service or its outputs on a commercial basis; interfering with its operation or security; using it to provide regulated advice to third parties; or using it in violation of any applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, text, and design, is owned by SoftLOGiX and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal planning. The plan inputs and outputs associated with your account remain yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to store and process them to provide the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including PayPal (payments), an email provider (verification codes), and Microsoft Azure (hosting). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any projection will be accurate or achievable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoftLOGiX and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost savings, investment losses, or tax liabilities, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the six months before the claim, or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SoftLOGiX harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the effective date above, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
